Why Roy Herzl, Inc.

Roy Herzl Inc. offers our clients the best possible price for their diamonds and jewelry by balancing traditional buying techniques with modern technology. We appreciate not only the value of a piece, but its provenance. We believe the story of an item can increase its price as well as illuminate its context, enriching our understanding of the people and sentiments connected to its creation and acquisition.

In our experience, two of the most popular ways of selling jewelry are through an auction house or a local, trusted jeweler. However, there are drawbacks to both approaches. When selling through an auction house, there may be a long waiting period before a sale, during which time market conditions can change. In addition, an auction house’s costly commission must be factored into a buyer’s budget, which can reduce the price the seller receives. While selling through a local jeweler is also an option, again the buyer may not realize the best price because these jewelers generally lack the financing to acquire significant jewelry. Further, as they will likely be reselling the piece to someone in the trade, the price they are willing to pay will be less than the market value because the jeweler wants to make a profit.

Roy Herzl Inc. is a well-financed company with a worldwide client base. Our extensive networks of global partners, who we have worked with for many years, sometimes generations, share the same expert skills and impeccable ethical standards when it comes to purchasing. We guarantee our clients that we will do our utmost to offer them the best price for their valuables.

At Roy Herzl Inc., we have extensive experience dealing with individual sellers, as well as insurance professionals, private bankers, appraisers, accountants, lawyers, and family representatives. Such professionals are more than welcome to contact us and may be secure in the knowledge that discretion has always been a hallmark of our company.

In addition, at Roy Herzl Inc., we maintain a diamond polishing factory on our premises. Our gemological instrumentation is state of the art and comparable to the finest in the world. As Henry Herzl, the fourth generation Herzl to work in the business, once said, “When you know how to cut a diamond, you know how to sell a diamond.”

Sometimes a change in fashion, sentiment, finances or family circumstance may prompt you to reconsider your attachment to a piece of jewelry.

At Roy Herzl Inc., we would be honored to evaluate your item or collection of jewelry.

We are interested in all kinds of precious jewelry, particularly diamonds of a carat or more. Please do not hesitate to contact us to make an appointment.
