  • Pearls and Diamonds – Five Ways to Do it Right

    May 18, 2016

Two of the most attractive, and most worn, pieces of jewelry any woman owns is often a string of pearls and her diamonds. These pieces are functional and can be dressed up or dressed down, depending on the occasion. That’s what makes them so perfect. So, maybe if you’re looking for another piece that you would wear just as often it might be in the same vein—perhaps pairing the two together. We’ve put together a selection of five of the best diamond and pearl combo pieces on the market today. However, remember these are just a sampling!

    Tiffany & Co Signature

The Tiffany & Co. Signature line offers a number of pieces with both pearls and diamonds. Earrings, necklaces and other items pair the simple pearl with the elegant diamond. You know anything that comes in the little blue box will be created with high-end craftsmanship, but the signature line is certainly one of the best known!

    Elsa Peretti Pearl Earrings

Pearls don’t have to be white! In conjunction with Tiffany, Elsa Peretti created these stunning pearl and diamond earrings that pair diamonds with Tahitian Keshi pearls. The colors are bold, beautiful and quite unlike anything you’ve ever seen. If you are looking to get away from the standard white, wedding pearls—this could be the piece you have always wanted.

    Tiffany Victoria

Another line by Tiffany & Co. is the Tiffany Victoria line. This includes Tiffany Diamonds and South Sea cultured pearls. These pieces are especially beautiful and bold!
Himalia Necklace – Cartier created a beautiful blend of white gold, pearls and diamonds called the Himalia. Pairing these high-end materials together is a risk, but a risk that Cartier is willing to take. This is a signature piece, for sure and one that is certain to turn heads, every time you wear it.

    Mother of Pearl & Diamonds

Van Cleef offers this beautiful ring, featuring bold gold, mother of pearl and a diamond in the center. This piece has vintage styling, but modern appeal, making it perfect for wearing with nearly any style of attire.

Although pairing diamonds and pearls together is a hot trend right now, it isn’t a NEW thing. This pairing has been around for decades.
