  • A Brief History of Gucci

    June 6, 2016

Gucci got its start in the early 1900’s and over the last 100 years or so has grown to become one of the world’s best-known high-end clothing, leather good, accessory and jewelry makers. Understanding how a young immigrant hotel worker became one of the best-known names in fashion will only make you better appreciate some of the fine pieces that Gucci offers today.

Young Guccio Gucci established a shop in 1920 selling fine leather goods. With three of his sons, he expanded his company across Europe and even in the United States. The company took off after World War II when Hollywood’s elite were often seen wearing leather items, accessories and other pieces by Gucci.

While there were many ups and downs through the years, Gucci has retained its cache; and is still a much-loved brand. Today, Gucci makes products of all types, including jewelry.

We know that our customers are jewelry lovers at heart, so we’ve put together a few of Gucci’s current jewelry offerings for you to browse. We’re certain you’ll be impressed by these timeless pieces.

Gucci Flora – This line of jewelry features 18k rose gold, a beautiful butterfly and a flower pattern. The enameled pattern is hand painted, meaning each piece has a one-of-a-kind appearance. The pieces are adorned with rubies, giving them a true high-end look.

The Lion’s Head Line – Made in metal with an aged, gold finish. This line of jewelry shows off a real royal look. The gems are Swarovski crystals and many pieces feature pearls as well.

G Motif Ring – The G motif is the logo best associated with the Gucci brand. You will find it on purses, shoes and other items. This simple motif ring features the G logo in a simple silver band. For those who love the Gucci brand and want to show off their love, there is no better purchase than this truly timeless piece. The G logo is also available on gold jewelry and on necklaces and bracelets too.
